While SOC operation is today considered as an essential service for gaining visibility on cybersecurity incidents and keeping companies secure, they also reveal some shortcomings such as the need for technical skills and  a consequent financial budget. Recent advances in technology such as AI, Machine Learning and HPC can address these shortcomings. These lead to the so-called "SOC in a Box", the engineering and manufacturing of Detection and Response solutions that combine more effectively the abilities and skills delivered through third party services.
